At Kerr Sensors, our innovative technology invites users to explore the possibilities of sensing. Our sensors have a powerful magnet at the bottom, making it easy to mount them on ferro-magnetic surfaces. No additional tools or hardware are required, making installation quick and efficient.


To securely fasten the sensor to non-metallic surfaces, you have two options: either use a magnet on the opposite side of the surface that vibrates, or employ sticky putty.

The various methods to set up the sensor will be very helpful when working with different materials.


2. Low Impedance

As a signal travels through a cable, it is susceptible to various external interferences, such as electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). By setting the impedance at 470 ohms, you create an optimal environment for signal transmission. This impedance value is carefully chosen to correspond with the cable's characteristics and the electrical properties of the devices involved. When the source device and the cable have a matched impedance, the signal travels through the cable with minimal reflections or loss.
